Dr. Gary Dalen

With over 30 years of experience practicing dentistry in Whitefish, Dr. Dalen has built a reputation of clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care. He is dedicated to the most advanced technologies in dentistry.

Born and raised in Whitefish, Dr. Dalen graduated from Oregon State University followed by dental school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Dalen is a lifelong learner and has continued his dental studies throughout his career. With training from some of the best dentists in the field, he participates in study clubs across the country.

Dr. Dalen is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently pursuing accreditation in the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an elite group of just over 250 dental professionals in the world achieved by a dedication to continuing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.

Dr. Dalen and his wife Annette, who serves as the office’s practice manager, raised four children in Whitefish. Some of their favorite activities include backcountry horse trips, camping, huckleberry picking and spending time with their seven grandchildren.
