Our Technology

Cone Beam

Cone beam computed tomography (cone beam CT, or CBCT) is an advanced x-ray that allows us to take a 3D image of the mouth including both hard and soft tissue.  The CBCT provides Dr. Dalen a detailed image of jaws, gums, teeth, tongue and nerves.

Intraoral 3D Scanner

Intraoral scanners or dental 3D scanners replace the conventional impression method, where patients are asked to sit with impression material in their mouth in order to get an accurate impression. The two scan types can be combined, for example, when full denture treatment is needed.

Panoramic Digital Dental X-ray

Panoramic Digital Dental X-ray captures a single image that shows  teeth, jawbones and surrounding facial structures. Dentists and oral surgeons use these X-rays to diagnose dental problems and plan treatments, especially for restorative dentistry like dental implants, or teeth straightening and orthodontic work.

Digital X-rays

Digital X-rays produce less radiation than analog and are easy to share with other providers when needed.

VELScope

A VELscope is a painless light device used during your regular cleaning exam to check for oral cancer.

Our Trusted Labs

Dr. Dalen works with a variety of state-of-the-art dental labs. He chooses them based on their experience and quality of workmanship, communication, and time  turnaround.
